“Like Music? You’ll Love Katy!” Mark your calendar and save the dates – April 27-
Beginning at 4 PM on April 27, outstanding student jazz ensembles will be providing live concerts at 4. 5, and 6 PM. At 7:30 PM the jazz professionals, The Texas Music Festival Jazz Project (a Big Band) will be bringing the evening’s Feature Concert.
On Saturday, April 28, Jazz Ensembles, Professional Guitarists in concert via the
Katy Guitar Festival, and world renown artists with pieces in Museums as well as
national, state, and area artists via ARTkaty, begin at 9:00 AM. Student Big Bands
will be performing every hour on the hour, with Jazz Combos and Guitarist performing
throughout the day. The day is capped off with the Feature Concert of The Brad Leali
Sextet, an ensemble of world renown Professional Jazz Artists following a performance
by the 2012 Katy ISD All-
All events take place at the Katy HS Performing Arts Center, 6331 Highway Blvd., Katy, Texas. Admission for the daily activities and tickets for the Feature Concerts are now available online, and will be available in the lobbies of our “Partner” Hotels.
Shuttle service is available to and from the Festival from all “Partner” hotels, with paid daily admission, along with reduced hotel rates for those who wish to stay overnight.
